Museo Del Tessile
Busto Arsizio, Varese

Il Museo raccoglie la testimonianza dell'industri tessile del territorio. Sono presenti le sezioni filatura e preparazione; tessitura; sala jacquard; finissaggio, confezione e spedizione; sala ricamo; tintura e stampa dei tessuti;ricami e schirpa; sala fibre nuove; documenti e uffici. Sono inoltre presenti due laboratori didattici, la sala delle esperienze e il Laboratorio didattico sul colore e la tintoria. Le due torrette dell'edificio ospitano l'Archivio fotografico Paracchi e l'Archivio Calzaturificio Borri.

The museum is a symbol of the textile industry of this area. We can find the spinning and preparation section; the weaving; the jacquard room; the rooms of embroidery, for dyeing and printing clothes; the room of the new fibers; documents and offices. There are also two didattic labs (the room of the experiences and the lab of the colors and dyeing). The towers host the "Photographic Archive Paracchi" and the "Shoe Archive Borri".
